The lesson
A short lesson with an idea, a small exercise and a quick check-in.
A slower kind of making
Lesson 01 / Make a small experiment

Explore a practical creative rhythm: prepare your space, try a small experiment and reflect on what changed.
Prepare a little space.
Choose one surface, one material and one tool. Put unrelated things aside. A small, ready workspace reduces the effort of beginning and makes it easier to notice what the material is doing.
Change one thing at a time.
Try three small variations. Change the pressure, shape or arrangement while keeping the rest of the setup similar. The aim is to learn from a clear comparison, rather than to finish a perfect object immediately.
Try a small exercise.
Fold three small paper forms. Make one deliberate change between each version. Photograph them together and write down which change was useful, which surprised you, and what you would try in a fourth version.
